          Folding the CH-47 Rotor Blades

 

 

             Shown in the undated photographs below is an example of what folded blades on a CH-47D looks like. The tail number of the aircraft is unknown, but the photographs were taken at Aviano Air Base in Italy sometime in the 90s.
