Army National Guard
A unit patch from Company H, 189th Aviation, part of the Army National Guard, located in Montana.

 

 

             Helena, 1 January 2004: Newly formed Company H, 189th Aviation, based at the airport in Helena, Montana received it's first CH-47D Chinook helicopter earlier in 2003. Set to receive an additional 6 airframes, the unit took possesion of 87-00098 from the Army National Guard, based in Oregon, and began training it's personnel in the transition from the UH-1 "Huey" to the Chinook.
