             06-08718, Boeing Vertol Tab Number M8718, was a CH-47F helicopter. The U.S. Army acceptance date was 26 September 2008. As of 15 August 2009, 06-08718 accumulated 391.0 aircraft hours.

   06-08718 was a new build airframe with all new components installed.

   06-08718 was initially assigned to B Company - "Flippers", 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion (GSAB), 82nd Airborne Division, located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

   At some point, in early 2009, 06-08718 was deployed with the "Flippers" in support of contingency operations during Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF).

   As of 15 August 2009, the last known location of 06-08718 was at Kandahar, Afghanistan.

   Aircraft status: Flyable.
